“My favorite part of Collette’s classes are the tiny gems she leaves you with before ending each class. Typically a simple sentence or two, but so meaningful and so impacting that they speak to you in a way that perfectly closes out the best hour of your day.”

“After three years of classes and workshops, I met with Collette for a series of one-to-one sessions with the goal of fine-tuning my alignment and setting up a home practice. We talked through my goals, and she came fully prepared with suggestions and techniques for each session. She brought my practice the a whole different level -- and we also had fun!”- Maggie Cook
“We think Collette is a wonderful Yoga instructor and a great person. We feel energized, uplifted and relaxed at the end of our sessions. Collette tailors her Yoga sessions to the people she’s working with; she varies our lessons to what we can do and what’s best for us. She is always upbeat, on time and professional. She’s a happy person and a joy to be around!”

Collette first discovered yoga as a compliment to her studies in acting and dance at Bennington College. After teaching in elementary and preschools for several years, she decided to take her practice to the next level by completing her first 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher certification in 2010. She most recently received 500RYT status through Laughing Lotus in New York City. Collette also holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instructional Leadership which influences the way she designs her classes: flows thoughtfully build with purpose and attention to alignment while still being playful and adventurous.
Through her teaching, Collette aspires to bring a depth of exploration to the asana as well as the Self while creating a sense of community and a remembrance of Unity.
